Coronavirus: Information for students

We are excited to welcome you to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and to start the 2021 summer semester together.
The 2021 summer semester at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will also be affected by the coronavirus pandemic and this means another hybrid semester with a combination of in-person and digital classes.
The digital element will slightly higher than in the past as a result of the 45-person limit for in-person classes. The Faculty is monitoring the infection rate and any necessary changes in teaching formats will be based on these figures.
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will do everything in its power to ensure high-quality teaching and that students’ studies can be carried out smoothly and without delays. Professors, for instance, will again be supported by e-tutors who will assist in organising digital teaching.
Lecturers from the Faculty of Civil Engineering as well as the Dean’s Office, technical, administration and lab employees are currently working hard on the preparations for the start of the lecture period on 6 April 2021. Details on courses can be found in the course timetable and course catalogue. Please contact academic advising regarding any questions or uncertainties you might have.
