Course content:

The course consists of lectures and visits of case studies (short excursions). It is a mandatory module in the bachelor courses Management (Building, Real Estate, Infrastructure) and Civil Engineering (Construction, Environment, Building Materials) and is especially designed to drum up interest for this field. Therefore, representatives of the classic infrastructures of the city will get a chance to speak and to present themselves and their field.

The lectures give an introduction to the topics:

  • Transportation
  • Water supply
  • Effluent disposal
  • Energy supply
  • Waste disposal and treatment

Within the scope of short excursions (EX), the meaning of infrastructure facilities will be demonstrated based on case studies.

Examination:
Oral exam; further information on what is relevant for examination to be consulted on Moodle
