Communication - new must criterion in cycling planning!?
Citizen participation and communication that accompanies planning now appear in most municipal calls for bicycling planning.
Implementation takes place in a wide variety of ways and to varying degrees of depth. In her presentation, Verena Engel (team red Deutschland GmbH) addresses the goals, application and methods of communication in cycling planning - from information, to participation and tactical urbanism. Examples will be used to discuss why these are needed, who the actors are, and what needs to be considered.
The lecture will be held as part of the course 'Cycling Facilities' and is open to all interested parties. It is held in German.
