Prof. Morgenthal konnte beim European Bridge Forum 2020 in einem Keynote-Vortrag zum Thema "Digitalisation of Structural Inspections – Automatic Scanning, Image Analysis and Georeferencing of Condition Data" von aktuellen Forschungsergebnissen der Professur berichten.
Die Veranstaltung war vom BMVI im Zuge der Deutsche EU-Ratspräsidentschaft organisiert worden und wurde von Vertretern aus 23 Ländern verfolgt.
