The Chair of Intelligent Technical Design is concerned with the application of modern information and communication technology (ICT) during the design, the construction and the operation of civil infrastructure, such as buildings, bridges, tunnels, road and pipe networks. In this regard, we use methods of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Computer Vision and Machine Learning as well as Virtual and Augmented Reality to efficiently and sustainably inform decision makers.

Two contributions to 34th Forum Bauinformatik accepted

Tehaseen Mujawar und Paul-Christian Schuler to present their papers on 07.09.2023 at RUB.

The successfully defended Master's Theses of Tehaseen Mujawar and Paul-Christian Schuler, titled: "Optimizing CT Scans’ Instance Segmentation of Air Pockets in Asphalt Mix Samples via Deep Neural Network" and "Semantische Segmentierung von Punktwolken für Oberflächenschäden an Beton Strukturen mit PointNet++" respectively, submitted in abridgement form as contributions to the 34th Forum Bauinformatik 2023 at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) have been accepted. The event takes place from 06.09.-08.09.2023 at the Research Centre for Engineering of Smart Product Service Systems (ZESS) of the RUB. Further information is available through the following URL.
