In the 6th issue of the 12th volume of the journal "Applied Sciences", the article "A BIM Based Framework for Damage Segmentation, Modeling, and Visualization Using IFC" has been published.

Shortly before Christmas, we received the funding approval for the research project AuCity 3.

In December 2021, the new edition of the German textbook Building Information Modeling has been published.

Four colleagues have presented five new publications during the 32th Forum Bauinformatik.

Mr. Mathias Artus, Mohamed Alabassy, and Christian Koch have received the best paper award for their paper "IFC based Framework for Generating, Modeling and Visualizing Spalling Defect Geometries" at the EG-ICE.

From June 29 to 30, 2021, the conference "Fachkongress Digitale Transformation im Lebenszyklus der Verkehrsinfrastruktur" took place. Martin Schickert presented results from the cooperation between our chair and the MFPA life cycle material engineering.

In the April issue of the journal "Advanced Engineering Informatics" the article "Fusing data, engineering knowledge and artificial intelligence for the built environment" has been published.

From March 24 to 25, 2021, the digital conference "Artificial Intelligence in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction" took place. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Koch presented results from the cooperation with Dr. Jelena Ninić from the University of Nottingham.

In the January issue of the journal "Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology" the article "From digital models to numerical analysis for mechanised tunnelling: A fully automated design-through-analysis workflow" has been published.
