Vaccination campaign for employees and students on 22 and 30 November 2022
In order to be well prepared for the coming winter in terms of health and to make classroom teaching as safe as possible, students and employees of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are given the opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza in an uncomplicated way on site in Weimar as part of a vaccination campaign.
On Tuesday, 22 November, and Wednesday, 30 November 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all university employees (staff and students) will have the opportunity to receive free COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations. The vaccination event will be held in the Mensa am Park, Marienstraße 15b, 1st floor. For flu vaccination, a currently recommended vaccine is used (normal and high dose for persons 60 and older). For COVID-19, the vaccine »Biontech BA4/5« is used.
The following should be brought to the vaccination:
Prior to vaccination, a medical consultation will be given by the vaccinating physician, which can be given in English if desired. The final decision as to whether a person can be vaccinated is made by the physician after the educational interview, taking into account the individual circumstances. Thus, the offer of vaccination does not automatically imply an entitlement to vaccination.
