A fine art printing process from the 1850s.
We work with photogram and contact printing techniques.

01. Juni (Saturday) 9 - 15 h Motion blur in the photo studio
Johannes Heppner and Tarek Rishmawi show how to work with movement in the studio. The techniques used are slitscan and long exposures with flash. It may also be possible to work with a "camera scanner" from the early days of digital camera technology.

26.04. 9 - 14 h Digital Workflow & Colormanagement
Everything about image data preparation for print and web. Colour mode, colour depth, colour profiles, resolution, pixels, printing, raw-tiff-jpg etc., digital workflow...Data preparation also with your own images. The workshop should be orientated to the requirements of the participants without any focus.
22 March Focal length / perspective / SW lab
The ultimate focal length test with an analogue medium format camera on black and white film. With focal lengths of 37-360mm, we watch how the image space compresses or expands. If possible, we will enlarge the comparison in the black and white laboratory.
15 March Digital slitscan with processing
We take a look at the slitscan process, a process that can be used to visualise moving motifs in a unique way. We use the Processing programme for this.

8 March Renaissance and Baroque light
Introduction to the subject followed by practical realisation with flash lamps in the photo studio.
The result will be a printed series of portraits.
