Project description
The inter-media semester exhibition (Take a Seat) of the Professorship of Typography & Type Design invites you to take a seat and discover the work of 34 students. On display are works from the courses: Message to the Cosmos, Typographic Survival Guide and Dimensions of One. Furthermore, the release of the 204 Type-Gazette - Issue 05 and the Set magazine is linked to the exhibition.
Sitting means not only lingering, but also experiencing and reflecting. The exhibition thus creates a space for encounters in which works can not only be viewed, but also enjoyed with leaning support - Take a Seat! (In addition to the regular exhibition time of the Winterwerkschau, a public presentation of the courses will take place on February 5 at Marienstraße 14, 1st floor).
Typographic Survival Guide. This course examines the seemingly banal, inconspicuous, flawed and absurd moments in which we encounter typographic and graphic applications. These observations will be presented in publications.
