Project description
Welcome to Digital Dreams II, an exciting interdisciplinary project bringing together the faculties of Art & Design and Media at our university. In this innovative initiative, students from diverse backgrounds collaborate in interdisciplinary groups to explore the dynamic world of game development.
At the intersection of artistry and technology, Digital Dreams II serves as a playground for creativity and innovation. Students from the Faculty of Art & Design bring their expertise in visual aesthetics, storytelling, and conceptualization, while those from the Faculty of Media contribute their skills in programming, animation, and interactive media.
In this collaborative endeavor, interdisciplinary groups are formed, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives. Drawing inspiration from the pioneering spirit of the Bauhaus movement, where art and technology converged to shape modern design, our students embark on a journey to craft immersive and engaging gaming experiences.
Throughout the project, students delve into various aspects of game development, from ideation and prototyping to production and presentation. Guided by an experienced mentor from both faculties, they learn to navigate the complexities of interdisciplinary teamwork, leveraging their unique strengths to overcome challenges and achieve their creative vision.
Come say hello and playtest the prototypes from this semester.
