Project description
The module “Portfolio: AI-Tool or Trial?” enables students to create a personalized portfolio that showcases their design skills and creative vision. The course addresses key questions about designing and communicating a portfolio: How can I present my diverse skills in a compact and compelling way? How do I appeal to the target group and leave a lasting impression? Which projects are suitable for my portfolio and what are the dos and don'ts?
The course includes targeted exercises on presentation, layout design and the formulation of concise descriptions, with decision-making and argumentation skills being trained. A special focus is placed on the integration of artificial intelligence into the design process. This includes an introduction to the use of AI-supported image generation software as a creative tool, a discussion of the responsibility and ethical aspects of using AI and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the design of AI-supported products.
