Project description
Epoch Being is an interactive and engagement display system that aims to revolutionize our current data representation methods. Through the deployment of multimedia technologies, Epoch Being envisions the future of our museum experience. With the vision to present the evolution of 'timespace' with an organic, resonating, non-linear approach, Epoch Being consists of an interactive data archive, and a digital archive of evolution memories presented in pointcloud.
Each object in our life has an influence. Each element is an actor in our events, from major to minor scale. Time, a man-made concept, can be perceived in many different ways. One can understand it in a linear way, but also if we really think about it, each timespace point is effecting each other, just like a neural network. What if time is understood as a volume, not as a line? If Goethe didn't convinced Schiller to come back to Weimar, there would not be a Weimar Classism, or many more effects that we are not aware of. Epoch being invites everyone to rethink the concept of time, and the way we experience change, and the process of learning and remembering.
