Project description
In the Recycling Plastics module, we focused primarily on mold making and the processing of plastic recyclates. We started with experimental, manual mold making. These molds were then used with a manual injection molding machine for manual production. For production, we collected plastic waste and shredded it into granulate in the experimental workshop of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism. Subsequently, more complex tools for the semi-automatic injection moulding machine Arburg C4 were realized. The tools were planned in CAD and are currently being produced with the CNC milling machine. The "rest" of the work will then be done by the injection molding machine.
