Project description
With the aim of exploring materialities and their properties this table emerged. It can be produced out of a single square meter of a given material. For the prototype metal was the material of choice. This table can be built in different scales, its proportions however stay the same.
Whereas the round center is thought of as flexible in its diameter, depending on the commission.
This way, the empty core can be used individually - for example, as seen in the prototype, by putting in a bowl. Or, cutting in just a tiny hole, allowing only a cable to pass through.
The table was designed by Elias Paul Richter and Rose Schuller. The graphical design was executed by branding and graphic design studio Skala (Stephan Hürlemann and Arjun Gilgen).
