Project description
The current discourse in art is concerned with aesthetics, politics and
extensive concepts. We push all that aside and deal with the lower spheres of art.
Starting with the art of IKEA,
to views of Parisian street cafés at night, to airbrush motifs at fairgrounds.
We say: "Brain: off, kitsch: on."
In the course, we explore all the cheap tricks used to make a picture be perceived as "beautiful".
