YOUNG N PRETTY

Poster for the event »Young N Pretty«

Oh, It's so easy in the night. It takes a while for our eyes to adjust to the light.
We're so young in the city. Our bodies are young and pretty.
And the world is old, old and freezing cold.
It needs our feverish heat in the street.

In »We're never coming home«, Molly Nilsson sings about the exuberance of youth on a journey through the night that is guided by expectant feelings and electrifying tension. On the one hand longingly declared as an exciting and above all transient ideal state, being young also marks above all anxieties and states of permanent change and uncertainty.

The group exhibition »YOUNG N PRETTY« gathers six artistic positions that deal with the themes of identity and corporeality, space, society, youth and pop culture in the most diverse ways.
