Coronavirus Prevention: Workshops, Labs, Computer pools, ateliers and studios as well as the dean's office of the Faculty of Art and Design are closed to the public with immediate effect
In order to prevent a possible spread of the COVID-19 virus, the workshops, laboratories, computer pools, ateliers and studios as well as the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Art and Design will be closed to visitors from Monday, 16 March 2020. Advice for students will only be given by telephone or e-mail.
The start of courses at all Thuringian universities is postponed until at least May 4, 2020. The attendance phase at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar may begin even later if necessary. Students are expressly requested not to arrive until the beginning of the courses.
The project exchange and the project and course selection for the courses will be rescheduled and announced in time. Alternative offers for the summer semester are currently being examined.
Visitor traffic in the University Library has been discontinued with immediate effect. In the »Office of Student and Academic Affairs« and »International Office« as well as in the Language Centre, advice for students is now only given by telephone and e-mail. This also applies to the examination office of the Faculty of Art and Design.
