Masterclass with Islam Kamal, Alexandria, Egypt
The Egyptian media artist Islam Kamal presents two of his short films and discusses the development process. How do we tell about a policeman, a belly dancer, a white rabbit and an agent who is hopelessly in love? What are the limitations of filmmakers in their work? Memories - visual or otherwise - are an integral part of us - unique, unforgettable. How can we work with them artistically - before personal scissors in mind or political censorship interfere?
In cooperation with OSTPOL, Leipzig and Fig Leaf Studios, Alexandria. As part of lab / p3 - poetry in motion.

Public Domain (BBC Alternative Cinema Arabia Award 2013)
