Congratulations to Maren Klamser on being awarded the prestigious "Bundespreis Ecodesign" for her master thesis "5TONS". The thesis focused on the development of a dry-stacked masonry system made of recyclable mineral building material, and the exploration of novel aesthetic and functional potentials.

The work was supervised by Prof. Dr. Jan Willmann, M.A. Katrin Krupka and M.A. Michael Braun.

A special thanks goes to the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for their generous support in developing/testing the material system.
