Elena Zieser
Elena Zieser is an audio artist. She studied Media Art at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and has since worked as an independent artist, exploring the intersection of radio drama, documentary and sound art. Her work has been recognised with several awards and has been broadcast by Deutschlandfunk Kultur, RBB, WDR and ORF. She has produced sound installations and listening rooms for museum and theater spaces including the Akademie der Künste Berlin, the GrimmWelt in Kassel and the Theater Mummpitz in Nuremberg. At the FH Potsdam and the FHNW in Basel she taught courses in audio production. Her work experience includes sound design for theater and film, as well as writing and producing radio plays, podcasts, and audio walks. Since 2021 she has been an artistic associate at the Chair of Experimental Radio.
