Projektbeschreibung

PORT Magazin annually showcases and brings together projects developed by students. This year's To Hold To Host Issue focuses on collaborative work drawing inspiration from gathering as a creative practice. It is not about eternalising individual names but about bringing voices together. Instead of looking ahead, we looked around—on sweet duty, we are hosting and holding a gathering of gatherings. It’s about collaborative work and who’s behind it that this year's issue collects and carries.

Gathering became our method, collaboration our narrative, and PORT the container—home to twenty projects, each one shaped not in isolation but through collaboration. We spent the day with all of them. Asking to describe their project and its process using three metaphors: a vessel, the weather, and a moment of pause. What emerged was not a linear outcome, but a layered result shaped by many voices.

We carry and are carried. We host and are hosted. We hold, and we are held.
