Projektbeschreibung

Combining sculptural light art and webcam technology, new media of collaborative performance across spacetime was made possible during the quarantine era. Instead of loathing what was not possible due to separation, contemplation was devoted to creating new forms of interactive performance remotely - across spacetime - where physical separation gave way to a connections in parallel spacetime, on "parallel planets".

While each "planet" is its own separate entity, each with its own landscape, climate, shape, and size, they co-exist and together form a collective geometry of interaction. Using projection mapping and portable objects, interactive performances in virtual and physical realities combined with novel collages of "parallel spacetimes" were carried out in different locations, reflecting the theme of simultaneous "apart-ness" and "together-ness" in physical, psychological, and virtual realities.

***An new interactive distance-performance will be carried out with public participation from webcams projected onto miniature "planets" at the Theaterplatz during the days of the Summaery after the sky is dark enough, if conditions allow.
