Content

The purpose of this project was to develop new interaction devices and techniques for 3D-real-time applications.

In cooperation with the faculty of design, small groups were formed during the process of concept and development to interdisciplinarily work on new techniques of interaction.

In the near future, modern technologies will offer the possibility to reconstruct a field which is filmed by several cameras completely as 3D-view.

Intuitive input devices are required to navigate in such a 3D-scene.

The idea of "blowing" as an interaction technique was basis for developing two setups, each consisting of an application and an input device:

The Virtual Blowball and The Virtual Windmill.

Realisation of mechanical tracking,
application with an example of the bee

A tool to configurate virtual car models.

Here we have a short overview of Input Devices created in this project.
