Projektbeschreibung
Sa, Su 12pm - 2pm
What happens when you give the whole internet a big blank canvas to draw on? A pixel for every person, every five minutes? In July, the social media platform Reddit hosted such an event over five days for the third time since 2017. The results were stunning and intricate artworks by internet communities across the globe. This final project for the Visualization course is a timelapse of the entire canvas history. It allows you to interactively explore the creation of hundreds of artworks. You can switch between visualizations to highlight the most contested areas and see communities compete for the tiniest bit blank space on this painting battleground.
