Projektbeschreibung

How often have you wondered why a person has not responded to your message? How do you feel about people you have only met in online meetings so far? How does the pulse sensor on your smart watch influence the relationship with your own body?

Collaborating with people all over the world - or next door during a quarantine; staying in contact with friends and family while studying in another country or using a monitoring tool for tracking health functions: We have many relationships that are (in parts) made possible or supported through technologies.

Increasingly, HCI acknowledges that technologies are not only made for the work context, but touch on every aspect of our lives. Therefore, they have moved from professional relationships into close personal relationships related to love, health and care.

In this project, students of the MSc course Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) have explored the breadth of human and more-than-human relationships and what role technologies play in shaping these experiences.
