The upcoming IAAD semester will take us to Grisons in Switzerland. In the high alpine region - far away from civilization and without a physical build context - we will examine to what extent an architectural setting in the landscape is able to constitute a place in an architectonical manner.
The question of the relationship of our house to the landscape will play just as important a role as the emerging world within, which will create a tense mixture of retreat opportunities and public areas.
