Vita
Ruweida Aljabali is a doctoral candidate/researcher in the chair of urban studies and social research at the Bauhaus University Weimar. Her doctoral thesis investigates the role of social capital in building urban resilience in Palestinian refugee camps of Jordan. She takes a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the field of refugee camps studies, urban sociology and urban resilience. Ruweida holds a bachelor degree in Architecture and Built Environment from the German Jordanian University in Jordan, and a master’s degree in Technology and Resources Management with a focus on Urban and Regional Management.
