The Bauhaus-University Weimar offers various opportunities to promote and support courses. See below for an overview.
As an interdisciplinary service for teachers, the e-learning laboratory (eLab) advises on media-didactic methods and the development of teaching concepts, and provides support in the creation of teaching materials and experimentation with new ideas. The eLab trains student e-tutors and offers courses on various e-learning formats and tools. You can find more information on the web page of the eLab.
The tutorial fund enables the funding of tutorials providing a targeted accompaniment to courses and enabling students to acquire interdisciplinary (methodological, social and personal) competences using the subject matter or context. Tutors are offered didactic training. Check the web page of the tutorial fund for further information.
Funds from the BeSt teaching fund are available for courses taught in English offered as part of a German degree programme. The funds will be used to support English-language lectureships, the translation of teaching materials into English and suchlike. For more information, please see the International Office web page.
Regular evaluations are conducted at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The Centre for Institutional Development supports the implementation of various evaluation formats and the analysis and processing of the data obtained. On request, a qualitative evaluation is also possible. You can find more information on the web page of the Centre for Institutional Development.
A qualitative evaluation will be conducted of selected courses as part of the Bauhaus.Module. Specifically, the coordination team will contact those responsible for the modules. Please contact the coordination team should you be interested in a qualitative evaluation of your course as part of the Bauhaus.Module.
The Equal Opportunity Office at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar supports teachers and students in matters of gender-sensitive wording and offers funding for equal opportunities and gender equality aspects as well as flexible childcare. More information is available from the Equal Opportunity Office.
