“A book is a tree with its leaves.” This quote from the poet Sarah Kirsch inspired me for this work, which approaches the word and its carrier on different levels, the sound dimension as well as its graphic form. Paper as a carrier of language became an artistic work in its own right, from harvesting the straw to making it and printing it, so that each sheet has individual structures.

This sculpture and sound installation was part of the course and group exhibition project “einDrucksvoll”.
