Tandem Programme
The tandem programme is organized by the International Office of the Bauhaus-University. The aim of the programme is to give international students the possibility to learn German by creating the contact with a German student, while the German student can improve his/her skills in the mother language of his/her tandem partner.
The main difference of the Bauhaus Internationals buddy programme and the tandem programme by the International Office is the focus on learning each other's languages. The buddy programme also wants to help the internationals to improve their German skills but it's not necessary to learn the language of the international buddy. By that Bauhaus Internationals wants to make sure that everybody can participate in the buddy programme independent of his/her mother tongue.
