„Gentle“ is a lampshade from Katharina Merl and Christina Lobermeyer who used an old handcraft technique to create it, called „smocking“.
It was developed during a textile project by Heiko Bartels and Welf Oertel in 2010.
Within this time they contacted the two heads from serien.lighting in Frankfurt who where amazed by this lampshade idea. In the end they developed a series of different lamps out of this idea called Gentle which will be launched in autumn.
