Main Train Station

Along the central axis of the train station area on Carl-August-Allee, the DB train station forms the northern limit. The building, erected in 1922 and renovated in 1999, stands on the location of the first Weimar train station, built in 1846 for the Halle-Erfurt-Kassel line. The view in the direction of the city is onto the »Neues Museum« (New Museum).
