About the MovieSuccess Center
The MovieSuccess Center is one of the foremost European institutions for academic research on film business issues. Led by internationally acclaimed marketing scholars, MovieSuccess intends to deepen our knowledge on the factors that drive movies’ box office and profitability as well as to propel our understanding of subsequent distribution channels for motion pictures, such as home video, online services, and TV.
By cooperating with leading film companies and engaging in dialogue with industry executives and creative personnel, we aim to provide practicioners with insights for improved economic decision-making and greater motion picture success.
The MovieSuccess Center operates as a non-profit organization and maintains close ties to two academic institutions: The Faculty of Media at the Bauhaus-University of Weimar and the Film Business Academy at the Cass Business School/City University of London.
