Photography

The 600-m2 photography workshop is located in a former soft-drink manufacturing plant called the "Limona". The 90-m2 photo studio is illuminated by skylights which can be completely darkened. A wide range of lamps and light shapers offers extensive possibilities for designing photographic works.
Three staff members are on hand to ensure that the workshop operates smoothly and help students who need assistance with their projects. Students are allowed to use the workshop's professional cameras, traditional small, medium and large-format analogue cameras, a variety of digital systems and a professional, high-end studio workplace. Student can process their digitalized photo files on one of the integrated digital pools and, using a photo printer, print their images on various materials or photo paper. Heat and adhesive laminating machines can be used to laminate images for presentation purposes. For film photographic works, students can manually or mechanically develop their pictures, as well as use the various scanning systems to generate digital photo files.
Photographic prints can be made in black/white and colour dark rooms which are equipped to process all conventional film formats and provide space for photographic experimentation.
