Claudia Föllmer received the award from the Association of the Association of the Construction Industry, Environment and Mechanical Engineering (VDBUM) in Willingen on 11 February 2026 for her master's thesis on: ‘Analysis and concept development for the digitisation of approval processes for large-scale and heavy transport in the construction industry’.

The Chair of Construction Engineering and Management has recently published two new scientific papers dealing with the analysis and optimization of construction and approval processes in the context of digital transformation.

The Chair of Construction Enineering and Management and at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar has published a new scientific study on the economic evaluation of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method in the journal Bauingenieur.
