On the occasion of the first Bauhaus exhibition in 1923, not only were numerous murals designed and executed in the Bauhaus buildings, but at the same time various living spaces were furnished with specially designed objects. In this context, a unique art work was created in the private apartment of Bauhaus master Adolf Meyer — a holistic interior design that also included the design of a particular ceiling light. As part of an interdisciplinary project, this ceiling light was reconstructed and made accessible to a wider public for the first time at the symposium "Hidden Bauhaus — The Rediscovered Wall Paintings in the Living Room of the Bauhaus Master Adolf Meyer in Weimar".
