General English Programme

The General English Programme is designed for students who have already achieved  at least Abitur level or who have successfully completed our Basic English Programme. It consists of three separate, consecutive programmes (Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate), each divided into four modules (RED, YELLOW, GREEN and BLUE). At the end of each of these programmes, you will have reached a specific Target Level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

•    Pre-intermediate (Target level: B 1)
•    Intermediate (Target level: B 2)
•    Upper-Intermediate (Target level: C 1)

The modules of the General English Programme focus on topics of general interest rather than business situations. To those of you interested in a more business-oriented approach, we recommend the Business English Programme.

A placement test is mandatory before entering the programme.
