Business English: Pre-Intermediate 1 + 2 (B 1)

The aim of the two courses is to refresh basic English skills in preparation for the remaining courses in the programme. At the end of each course there is an exam to assess your reading, listening and writing skills. Your oral skills will be evaluated on the basis of your classroom work.

The courses are an alternative to the General English courses and aim to provide learners with a solid foundation in Business English. Emphasis will be placed on the development of communication skills (e.g. telephoning, writing emails and letters, socialising, etc. ), combined with traditional aspects of language-learning, such as grammar, reading and listening skills.
