Postgraduate degree programme in “Water and Environment”

This postgraduate degree programme is targeted at graduates (from general universities or universities of applied sciences) who are already working or would like to work as experts in the field of Water and Environment at agencies, companies, associations, engineering firms, institutes and other organizations. 

In cooperation with the University of Hanover, the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offers this degree programme in “Water and Environment”  as a joint correspondence course.

Both universities offer the programme independently with their own examination regulations. The full curriculum of the correspondence degree programme is comprised of courses offered at both universities. Students have the opportunity to take courses in Weimar or Hanover. Depending on how they put together their courses, they can design their programme according to their personal interests. Both universities have agreed to mutually recognize their students’ academic achievement and examination results as put forth in their respective examination regulations.   

Students receive credit toward their master’s degree for all courses completed at both universities.
