Steubenstraße 6a

After two years of construction, the Zuse Media Centre opened its doors for business in December 2002. Inside one can find the Service Centre for Computer Systems and Communication (SCC) with five computer pools, as well as the studios operated by the Faculty of Media.

The media centre was named after Dr. Konrad Zuse (1910-1995), the inventor of the first computer. He received his honorary doctorate degree from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in 1991.
