University Sports Centre

The “Falkenburg” sports facility was constructed in 1910 and has been used by the university since 1957. The gymnasium was built as a model construction type by the university in 1974.

The building includes a one-story gymnasium (ceiling height: 7 m) and two floors of changing rooms, sanitary facilities, offices and smaller training rooms.

The facility is now primarily used for university sports courses and by other sports clubs, such as the HSV (the University Sports Club – not the football team from Hamburg!).
