Belvederer Allee 1a+b (Cubes)

The first new facilities for the Faculty of Architecture were constructed behind the main building of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar from 1998 to 2001, based on plans by the architects AV1, Kaiserslautern. Their highly flexible functionality is one of the unique aspects of their compelling design. The architects planned a total of ten more cubicles which are to be built over a period of several years.

The first two buildings provide space for student employment, the Artistic-Experimental Workshops, the chair of Information Studies in Architecture, and the computer pools.
