Service Centre for Computer Systems and Communication (SCC)

The Servicecentre for Computersystems and -communication (SCC) is a basic institution of the Bauhaus-University Weimar.

Its main assignments are

  • establishment and maintenance of the data network (VPN, Wireless LAN)
  • supply and administration of fundamental services (email, net)
  • provision of essential servers (backup, login, data)
  • automation and maintenance of IT for administration
  • provision and maintenance of general pc-pools
