DSH- Preparatory Courses

DSH: Intensive Course to prepare for the DSH exam in September

In September of each academic year, the Language Centre offers a three-week intensive course to prepare for the Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber (DSH).

This course is geared exclusively towards students who have applied to and been admitted by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the Hochschule für Musik 'Franz Liszt' and the Fachhochschule Erfurt.

In order to be able to join the course, a very good command of German is required (C1-level according to the CEFR). A placement test at the beginning is obligatory. Please note that the course prepares you only for the exam. Its aim is solely to familiarise you with its different parts. If your command of German is not yet good enough, you will not be admitted because this course is not suitable for you. In this case you can apply for one of the intensive preparatory courses the Language Centre offers every semester.
