Bauhaus.Atelier | Info Shop Café

The Bauhaus.Atelier | Info Shop Café is the central contact point for all guests of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Student employees provide assistance to visitors, the café serves coffee and goodies, and the shop offers a wide selection of books, unusual souvenirs and innovative products designed by members of the university.

The Bauhaus.Atelier is also where the Bauhaus Walk begins. We invite you to discover the historic locations of the early State Bauhaus and follow the footsteps of Henry van de Velde and Walter Gropius. For more information about the Bauhaus Walk, click here.

The Bauhaus.Atelier | Info Shop Café is operated by the Bauhaus.TransferzentrumDESIGN in cooperation with the University Public Relations Department. You can find more information about the history of the building, originally the Brendel Studio, in the Bauhaus Weimar UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
