    Hermann Bohlen

Born in 1963, Hermann Bohlen studied sinology in Berlin and Shanghai. Since 1995, he has produced several radio plays in his own studio. In 1997, he won for his original sound collage „Prozedur 7.7.0“ the radio drama price of the academy of arts. Three years later, he founded the renowned Plopp competition among independent radio producers.

Recently, he published “Onager” und “Gräser fliegen nur noch selten heraus.” In honor to Günter Eich’s (German radio author & lyricist) 100th birthday in 2007, many public channels broadcasted a four hour long documentary simultaneously.
