    The Experimental Radio at the Bauhaus University, Weimar is a unique training school for the artistic radio medium. It is an international model for innovative radiophonic production, creative formats and interdisciplinary work as they are challenged by current artistic and technical changes.

    The course of studies covers all areas of the medium of radio, from journalistic focus through radio-art and radio-installation, to live radio drama and other types of radio-oriented projects. The program emphasizes interactive projects such as internet radio, streaming transmissions, pod-casts and other mobile formats.

    With its own broadcast- and production studio, students contribute to weekly broadcasts. The students have the chance to gain practical experience in the field of radio and to convey new and unconventional possibilities within the medium to the public – all of which is accessible via streaming transmission and web site.
