    Andreas Feddersen

    Andreas Feddersen was born 1975 in Stade. He spent three years of his schooldays at the German School of Toulouse (France) and finished his high school diploma in 1995. He studied Musicology primarily at the Chair for Popular Music History & Theory as well as Roman Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin.

    In 2000 he began studying Media Creation at Bauhaus-University Weimar, wrote scripts and directed different short films (among these “Der Flaneur” which was granted with the “Geißendörfer Award”). He also worked as a composer of theatre plays and short films. In 2005 he received a diploma in Media Creation with a 5.1-Dolby-Digital radio drama “Reconstruction” (public performances amongst others at ZEISS Full-Dome Planetarium in Berlin). Simultaneously he founded an audio- and filmproduction company “extrakross”, which won first price at Thuringian Business Plan Award in 2005. Since 1998 he worked as presenter at diverse festivals, since 2003 as moderator at radio station “Radio Lotte” in Weimar. In 2006 he carried out several radio workshops at the invitation of Robert Bosch Foundation in Eastern Europe. 2007 until 2008 he worked as spokesman for the Mayor and city of Jena.

    He currently dedicates himself to his Artistic Assistance at the Chair for Experimental Radio and also works as producer of radio dramas in planetaria.
