Rectorate Scholarship for Foreign Master Students

Granted are outstanding foreign students in full degree studies at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar after the first subject-related semester for 12 months. The scholarship amounts to 450,00 € per month.

Awarding criteria

• exceptional academic performance  (certificated by first vocational course of study)
• special motivation and ability for master programmes at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
• social engagement, especially regarding to intercultural exchange and social interaction between foreigners and Germans

Method of Selection
Interested people may apply for a Bauhaus-Scholarship until 15th of December 20109. The decision of awarding is taken by the awarding committee.
The grant usually starts on first of April.

Application documents
The application has to be sent digitally (pdf-document), containing

1. application and letter of motivation,
2. personal data sheet (with passport sized photo),
3. recommendation of a professor,
4. copy of bachelor or diploma certificate,
5. verification of social engagement (e.g. certificates, confirmation of an action)
6. certification of qualified German knowledge (exception: degree of a German University is existing)
