The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar does not have its own student accommodation. The International Student Office, however, is happy to help you find suitable accommodation for the duration of your stay.

The Studentenwerk Jena-Weimar administers several student halls in Weimar, nearly all of which are within easy reach of the town centre. Monthly rental rates range from €62 to €213, depending on the size, furnishings and condition of the respective apartments (in most cases single rooms).
The Website of the Studentenwerk will give you plenty of relevant information on the individual facilities.

You may also decide to live in a shared student flat. It is quite common for several students to share a large house and to divide the costs appropriately between them. The advantage of this option is that it provides intensive cultural contact with students from different countries, as well as helping you to learn German more quickly. Rental rates vary considerably, but they often represent better value than the student halls. It is also well worth your while to consult the pinboard entitled "Wohnen" on the homepage of the Bauhaus-Universität ("Aktuelles"); here you will find plenty of offers for flat-sharing schemes.
